This policy explains what information the website clevercodelab.com collects and how Clever Code Lab's internal tools that use Google APIs handle Google user data.

1. Who we are

Clever Code Lab (“we”, “us”) is a team that designs and builds web and mobile products. You can reach us through the contact form at clevercodelab.com/contact/.

2. This website

Contact form. When you send the form on our contact page, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you enter, together with your IP address and country. Your browser looks up the IP address and country with Cloudflare's public trace service (www.cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace) when a page of the site loads; they leave your browser only as part of a form submission. Each submission is emailed to our team mailbox and added to a Google Sheets spreadsheet our team uses to keep track of enquiries. We use these details to reply to you.

Analytics. Pages on clevercodelab.com load two analytics services: Google Analytics (the gtag.js tag from googletagmanager.com) and Hotjar (a script from static.hotjar.com). They collect information about your visit — such as the pages you view, your browser and device, and how you interact with the pages — and send it to Google and Hotjar. Their use of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy and the Hotjar Privacy Policy.

Cookies and browser storage. The website's own code does not set cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga, _ga_…, _gid and _gat_…; Hotjar sets cookies named _hjSession_… and _hjSessionUser_… and keeps small values in your browser's local and session storage. Our NFT page embeds a YouTube video, and YouTube may set its own cookies when that page is open. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

Fonts and scripts from other providers. The site loads its font from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), and the contact page loads a text animation script from unpkg.com. To deliver these files, those providers receive your IP address and browser information.

Hosting. The site is served from our web server through Cloudflare. Like any website, they process technical data about each request — such as your IP address, browser and the page requested — to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare also adds its Web Analytics script (from static.cloudflareinsights.com) to our pages, which reports page visits and page load performance to Cloudflare.

Social links. The links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Behance and Dribbble are plain links: nothing is loaded from those networks unless you click one.

3. Internal tools that use Google APIs

Clever Code Lab runs internal tools, registered with Google as the OAuth application “Yaro OpenClaw”, that connect to Google APIs. They are used only by Clever Code Lab's own team accounts, to automate our internal work. They are not offered to anyone outside the team.

With the team member's permission, these tools may access the following Google user data:

  • Gmail
  • Google Drive
  • Google Docs
  • Google Sheets
  • Google Calendar
  • Google Contacts
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Search Console
  • Site Verification

How we handle this data:

  • It is used only to provide those internal functions.
  • It is not sold and not used for advertising.
  • It is not transferred to third parties, except to service providers that process it on our behalf to provide these functions — including the AI model providers our tools run on (Anthropic, OpenAI) — or as required by law.
  • It is not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
  • It is stored only as long as needed for those functions.
  • Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy

Clever Code Lab's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
